  most of us anticipate good health. healthy ecosystem promotes good health. biodiversity is important for ecosystem. we mindfully promote and nurture the ecosystem at the farm. anticipation of wellness is realized by consuming as much naturally grown food. we are among the sources, for naturally grown food. you may like us being your farmer.

 we, organically grow produce and grains, gaining advantage from good ecology through sustainable practices. our efforts are to continue growing food and we can do so together.

 we have observed organically grown produce offers abundance of rich flavors and delightful experience. locally sourced organic produce offers freshness. fresh and raw produce has higher natural enzyme levels.  a rich biome fulfills prospects for good health.

  we prefer for you to get produce from the farm, as you can enjoy the douse in the ecology of the farm and carry some biome on to you, exchange good energies with the environment, be in the presence of growth energy, breathe in soil's aroma, get your fingers into soil. it is delight to meet fellow, passionate food growers and consumers. you may find us enthusiastic, to share a good lot of what we have learned and practice.

 we grow many of the indian vegetables, (desi produce) (heirloom) and grains, well known throughout the indian subcontinent and asia, consumed for a long period, woven into memories.

 we like to be informed and educated about things we haven't gotten familiar with, so please help us to know more, like many of the plants we considered as weeds (and some we would like to have way less of), turned out to be edible, highly nutritious and/or medicinal.

preparing meal

 preparing meal is an important function. the process of preparing meal enhances our cognitive abilities as well as exercises brain. we gain dexterity, for being part of the process and allowance into better social bonds. let the flavors enrich your taste buds and the nutrition enrich your health.

seeds

 we prefer to grow from heirloom seeds. we treasure good, heirloom seeds. seeds have been prized possession of many families, promising diversity. for as long as we have gathered seeds, we have enhanced our knowledge about food.

ecology and environment

 if a bug is eating it, we should be good eating it. if it is good for bugs, it would be good for us. a portion of crop is to be food for other life forms. in a healthy ecology, everybody should get fair share of food, so everyone can perform their role in the ecology.

 when you are here, do remember to look out for many of the life forms that have made the farm to be their habitat. ask us about the microbiota, we may demonstrate our thrill to share experiences. 

 as we are able to avoid synthetic applications, we observe many life forms as part of farm's ecology. these vibrant, biodiverse life forms help us to grow and harvest foods and avoid application of any synthetics, herbicides, pesticides.

 off many insects we can easily recognize and spot are monarch butterflies, bumble bees, carpenter bees, crickets, grasshoppers, praying mantises, dragon flies, fire flies, lady bugs, lace wing, ground beetles, many other beetles including dung beetles. 

 off many, we shouldn't avoid to mention the not so pleasantly popular insects, aphids, japanese beetles, the beautiful spotted lantern flies as they contribute in keeping healthy population of beneficial insects.

 belief in nature is to accept, every form of life has an important role and purpose, in an ecological balance.

 we make compost and compost tea to enrich and improve life within the soil. as we reduce soil disturbance (conservative tillage, no till), the life in soil, the microbiota keeps improving. we hope that these changes will help us to have healthier plants and hence healthier foods. as added benefit. carbon sequestration in the soil is important. the wild bacteria and yeast are very important in keeping us healthy.

 we make efforts to support and maintain habitats for many small life forms. the microbial life in the soil are real farmers and contribute to overall health.

 the honey bees allows us to harvest some very good honey and pollinate the produce we grow.

 the practice of hügelkultur is promising and certainly is a good habitat for many of the life forms.

 some use of biochar has been very promising and we believe it will be of significance as we get to utilize more.

 we are observing gradual gains from permaculture practices.

 the principles of biodynamics practice are certainly advantageous.

 at times we get to work with wood in various forms. it certainly is rewarding in many ways.

 paw paw trees have grown and are bearing fruits, it is delight to enjoy the flavors and texture they impart.

educate

 there are many opportunities to do things together and most likely kindle good memories. you may want to share about the produce you are accustomed to, inform and educate us to grow foods you like to eat.

 we all have something to offer, to each other. for thousands of years human kind has improved abilities to grow and store food. it has enhanced our abilities and should continue to do so.

culture and traditions

 language and food play very important role in upholding our culture and traditions. our roots, sense of belonging remains strong and responsibly allows us to celebrate them. we get to benefit from the heritage, wisdom and live a healthier life. multi generational families empower enrichment of our culture and traditions.

growing

 we all should grow something that becomes food, for local consumption. the advantages come in many forms. growing can be in a pot or yard or a community garden or a farm.

importance

 we ought to care about the food we eat as it energies us, empowers us to perform as us. the environment of our planet is essential for our co-existence. diverse plants feed diverse microbiome, diverse microbiome ensures healthier plants, sustaining the cycle. as plants are primary source of food, the plant intelligence packages nutrients for viability.
