carbon is critical for living beings as well as non living beings, on mother earth. the form of carbon could lead to disadvantage for life.

there are various ways of carbon sequestration in the soil that grows:

• biochar amendment - carbon is stable. biochar amendment could stably remain in soil for centuries

• pulverized rock amendment - pulverized rocks provides many necessary nutrients and improves soil

• compost amendment - improves soil fertility and improves soil microbiota

• planting hedgerows - builds a better ecology

• orchard planting - trees are capable of storing more carbon in the soil and also produces food

• reduction in soil disturbance - stores carbon in soil rather than releasing it upon disturbance

• utilizing biomass to bury underground - stores carbon in form of biomass for longer term and improves soil fertility

 excessive carbon in atmosphere would allow plants and trees to grow rapidly and larger in size. This is not necessarily good as too much mass would make plants and trees susceptible to lodging.
